«l tried to reach a mix of solutions that could translate into a product embodying up-to-the-minute quality and technical standards, and featuring a clean "slow" neutral design that can be readily adapted and customised as a function of personal requirements. I focused in particular on modularity and ease of use. If properly developed and aptly combined, these two characteristics make a design project flexible and easy to produce; I tried to make the kitchen block adaptable to the environment where it is going to be placed, and perfectly easy to use by people who do not plan to cook meals of a particularly "ambitious" sort. The project is innovative, in that its characteristics lead to a new concept of "kitchen furniture". In fact, while at present we think of kitchen furniture as something that belongs exclusively to our, home or the place where we spend our private time and our leisure time, it might find widespread application among the peo¬ple whose workplace coincides with the location where their pri¬vate life takes place. The other salient characteristic, great ease of use, cannot but facilitate this development.
Multifunctionality is the key frame of my project; making the kitchen, and hence the furnishings of the kitchen, into something that will fit in and will complement the working environment))
